Hij was altijd geïnspireerd door de Walt Disney-boeken en legendarische films zoals The Godfather, Scarface, Pulp Fiction en Boondock Saints. Van Apple's kunst is een combinatie van digitale technieken zoals fotografie en bekende features. De basis van de kunst is aluminium- of goudfolie, voeg vervolgens hologrammen, kleuren, glitter, diamanten en ander handwerk toe. Alle kunstwerken zijn met de hand afgewerkt met meerdere lagen epoxy. Door deze lagen toe te voegen is hij in staat om innovatieve en unieke mix-media kunst te creëren met een fantastisch 3D-effect. Diederik van Apple werd in 1985 geboren in Nederland.
